Most CHA members would have recently received information from HNZC about their “transformation process”.  Some of it included these statements/claims:
 

Housing New Zealand is part way through a transformation process.  We started by reviewing how we work and found that tenancy managers had too much administration to do; simple jobs kept them from spending time with tenants, old processes and systems slowed us down, and our services were inconsistent – so we’re changing the way we do things.

Once our transformation is complete, we'll be much better placed to help those in greatest need by being more responsive, consistent and effective for our customers.  Over 200,000 people live in our rental homes, and we have over 4,000 applicants on our waiting list.  It's those people who will benefit from our transformation, as well as our staff, who will be better equipped to help.  Read more here.
